| | Hi Table View Methodist Family, This Sunday we will focus on Exodus 16:2-15; the Israelites have begun their journey through the desert to the promised land. The journey began as an act of God's grace - he miraculously rescued them out of slavery. They soon realise that it will be an uphill battle and are tempted to give up; go back to slavery; even die in Egypt rather than strive for the Kingdom. In this case - in the midst of their complaining God didn't get angry with them - instead he provides for them - Manna (A mysterious bread from heaven) and Quail. As you make your journey with God remember that it sometimes gets difficult; but God's grace is always enough. I look forward to worshiping with and asking for God's help with you this Sunday at 8am, 930am and 6pm. Mr Linda Mathutha (a local preacher from the circuit will lead the 11am service). On Saturday Morning (20 September at 930am) the WA will host a speaker from Dementia South Africa; I think this promises to be a very helpful talk for those with the prospect of suffering from Dementia and those who care for them. God bless, Rev Angus Kelly PS - Read below for information about a youth camp the youth pastors have planned for next weekend (26-28 September 2014) | | YOUTH CAMP NEXT WEEKEND! #SELFiE is all about discovering who you really are. Each one of us has an identity in Christ. Again, this doesn't mean we have to be carbon copies of each other, or behave in a certain way for God to love us. God created us just the way we are, and through a relationship with Him, we can learn to love ourselves just the way we are, and love others just the way they are. Where will we be taking the #SELFiE? Amana Conference Centre, Hermanus When will we be taking the #SELFiE? 26-28 September 2014 How much will it cost to take a #SELFiE? R400, which needs to be paid before arriving on camp so that we can pay the campsite. How old must my child be to take a #SELFiE? 13-18 years old (or Grade 7-12) What do we do at #SELFiE?
