X41 Masibulele kuYesu

8.7.8.7.8.7

1 Ma sibulele kuYesu, Ngokuba wasifela
Wasenzela izibele Ngokusifela kwa Khe.
---
Let us sing our thanks to Jesus
For the gift of grace he won.
By his pain and death he freed us;
He would not leave us alone.
--
Taru! Bawu! Taru Bawu!
Yiba nofefe kuthi.
---
Lord have Mercy, Lord have Mercy,
Grant us grace O Lord we pray.

2 Thina bantwana beemfama;
Oweza kuthi apha.
Akwakhetha bala lamntu,
Wafel' abaziimfama.
---
We are children, lost and foolish
Yet he comes to lead the way.
Grace and favour to all people
Lost and found, redeemed by love.
--
Taru! Bawu! Taru Bawu!
Yiba nofefe kuthi.
---
Lord have Mercy, Lord have Mercy,
Grant us grace O Lord we pray.

3 Abantsundu, nabamhlophe,
Ma babulele kunye;
Ma bavakalise bonke, Baculele iNkosi.
---
Black and white, praise God together.
Shout his praise for all to hear.
Celebrate his grace and favour.
Sing of all that God has done.
--
Taru! Bawu! Taru Bawu!
Yiba nofefe kuthi.
---
Lord have Mercy, Lord have Mercy,
Grant us grace O Lord we pray. Amen.

What a friend we have in Jesus

All our sins and griefs to bear
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer

O what peace we often forfeit
O what needless pain we bear
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer

Verse 2
Have we trials and temptations
Is there trouble anywhere
We should never be discouraged
Take it to the Lord in prayer

Can we find a friend so faithful
Who will all our sorrows share
Jesus knows our every weakness
Take it to the Lord in prayer

Verse 3
Are we weak and heavy laden
Cumbered with a load of care
Precious Savior still our refuge
Take it to the Lord in prayer

Do your friends despise forsake you
Take it to the Lord in prayer
In His arms He'll take and shield you
Thou wilt find a solace there

Prayers of Praise and Confession

--
Almighty God, to whom all hearts are open, all desires known and from whom no secrets are hid:

Cleanse the thoughts of our hearts by the inspiration of your Holy Spirit, that we may perfectly love you, and worthily magnify your holy Name. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
--
Let us confess our sins to God.
(Silence)

Almighty God,
our heavenly Father, we have sinned against you and against people, in thought and word and deed, in the evil we have done and in the good we have not done,
--
through ignorance, through weakness, through our own deliberate fault.
 --
We are truly sorry and repent of all our sins.  For the sake of your Son, Jesus Christ, who died for us, forgive us all that is past;
--
and grant that we may serve you in newness of life to the glory of your Name.
Amen.
--
Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.  Hear then the word of grace:  Our sins are forgiven.
Amen.  Thanks be to God.

The Lord’s Prayer

Father God in heaven
Lord most high
Hear Your children's prayer
Lord most high
Hallowed be Your name
Lord most high
O Lord hear our prayer

Verse 2
May Your kingdom come
Here on earth
May Your will be done
Here on earth
As it is in heaven
So on earth
O Lord hear our prayer

Verse 3
Give us daily bread
Day by day
And forgive our sins
Day by day
As we too forgive
Day by day
O Lord hear our prayer

Verse 4
Lead us in Your way
Make us strong
When temptations come
Make us strong
Save us from all sin
Keep us strong
O Lord hear our prayer

Verse 5
All things come from You
All are Yours
Kingdom glory power
All are Yours
Take our lives and gifts
All are Yours
O Lord hear our prayer

Sermon

Make me a channel of your peace,

Where there is hatred
let me bring Your love
Where there is injury,
Your pardon, Lord
And where there's doubt,
true faith in You

Chorus
Oh, Master, grant
that I may never seek
So much to be consoled
as to console
To be understood
as to understand
To be loved
as to love with all my soul

Verse 2
Make me a channel
of your peace,
Where there's despair in life
let me bring hope
Where there is darkness,
only light
And where there's sadness,
ever joy

Verse 3
Make me a channel
of Your peace
It is in pardoning
that we are pardoned
In giving to all people
we receive
And in dying we're born
to eternal life

Benediction

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the holy Spirit be with us all, now and forever more. Amen.

I am weak but Thou art strong;

Jesus, keep me from all wrong.
I'll be satisfied as long
As I walk, dear Lord, close to Thee.

Just a closer walk with Thee,
Grant it, Jesus, this my plea.
Daily walking close to Thee,
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.

Through this world of toil and snares,
If I falter, Lord who cares?
Who with me my burden shares?
None but Thee, dear Lord,
none but Thee.

Just a closer walk with Thee,
Grant it, Jesus, this my plea.
Daily walking close to Thee,
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.

When my feeble life is o'er,
Time for me will be no more.
Guide me gently, safely o'er
To Thy kingdom shore, to Thy shore.

Just a closer walk with Thee,
Grant it, Jesus, this my plea.
Daily walking close to Thee,
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.

Precious Lord take my hand

Lead me on help me stand
I am tired I am weak I am worn
Thro' the storm thro' the night
Lead me on to the light
Take my hand precious Lord
Lead me home

Verse 1
Lead me on to that land
Where I'll take Jesus' hand
Lead me on to that place of sweet rest
Lead me on to that ground
Where the saints can be found
Take my hand precious Lord
Lead me on lead me on

Verse 2
Lead me on to that place
Where I'll see Jesus' face
Lead me on let me touch
Nail scarred hands
Then I'll fall at His feet
And thank Him He saved me
Take my hand precious Lord
Lead me on lead me on

Ending
Lead me lead me lead me on
Lead me lead me lead me on
Lead me on
